COVID-19 Update – 26th April 2021
Dromahair Arts & Recreation Centre committee have reviewed the advice provided by the Irish Government and various sporting organisations.
We are pleased to announce that both the AstroTurf and Playground facilities in the park will be open for use from Monday 26th April 2021. In accordance with this guidance, please review our Covid-19 policy before visiting the park.
Please also note that any users of the AstroTurf pitch will be required to complete a health declaration form before they make use of the facilities. It is the responsibility of the individual who books the pitch to ensure that these forms have been completed and the policy has been reviewed by all users.
We look forward to welcoming the community back to the park.
AstroTurf Bookings
AstroTurf bookings can be made by emailing DromahairAstro@gmail.com.
The all-weather AstroTurf pitch is a full size 3g floodlit playing surface.
The pitch can be hired per hour either as the whole pitch or a half.
Standard Rates
- One hour full pitch hire (with access to showers) – €120
- One hour full pitch hire (no access to showers) – €100
- One hour half pitch hire – €50

AstroTurf Rules of Use
- AstroTurf trainer, molded studs and blades only (Strictly no metal studs on boots)
- Please clean your boots / shoes before entry.
- No food or chewing gum.
- No dogs
- Carry equipment across the surface (No dragging equipment)
- Spectators must remain outside the fence
- No smoking
- No cycling
- No sports drinks (water only)
