Welcome to Dromahair Arts & Recreation Centre
The Dromahair Arts & Recreation Centre Association (DARC) has developed community and sports facilities in The Park, Dromahair, Co Leitrim over the past 10 years.
DARC work closely with several local teams, groups and schools to ensure the park develops for the whole community. These include:

St Patrick’s GAA Dromahair

Dromahair FC
Dromahair Anglers
Dromahair Development / Tidy Towns
Our current park facilities include:
- A playground
- Outdoor gym equipment
- A full size all weather playing surface
- A 1km walkway
- Pavilion and meeting rooms
These facilities are for the use of the Community of Dromahair, local schools, local groups, neighbouring towns, visitors to the area, or just visitors passing through as part of the Wild Atlantic Way. The facilities are for use by our youngest toddler to most senior citizen. We are pleased to have hosted several events such as Biodiversity Week and classes for the community from pilates to our annual Operation Transformation as well as our local drama group rehearsals. Our astro pitch has also proven to be popular choice of location for birthday parties for local football mad boys & girls!
Funding
This project received grant aid from Leitrim Local Community Development Committee under the Rural Development Programme which is financed by the Irish Government under the Rural Development Programme Ireland 2014-2020 and by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Europe investing in Rural Areas.
