Discover Dromahair Community Park

Darc are delighted to see our new signage, extra bench seating and accompanying website installed this week. Funded by Leitrim County Council under the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme- the signage will hopefully promote reacreational walking for our community by enhancing the walkway for all users in our community. Darc would like to thank Ann Caprani for her help on the application, Darragh Kerrigan creative for his great work on sign and website design, Superior signs Collooney for designing and installing signs and the wonderful locals such as Gabriel McFadden, Dolores Byrne, George McGoldrick, Tony Downey & Frank Clinton who kindly shared their knowledge & stories for us all to enjoy! Thanks also to all the local schools for providing artwork for the website and all children who enjoyed participating in the video making evening we had in the park during the summer. Massive credit must also go to Stephanie McAnearney who put huge work into getting this project completed over the last few months.
